This is Al.

Today I had the good fortune to photograph Al. He’s an artist and spends his days carving his amazing

walking staffs and making hand made jewelry in Occidental Park here in Seattle. He’s out there just about

every day crafting his art. If you see him stop and say hello. I’m making him some big prints to share with his

Sister back in Alabama.

PYE Global Portraits

Last week is was on location at Whidbey Island documenting a day of learning and inspiration.

I spent the day at the Whidbey Institute shooting portraits and candid interactions to be used on a new website.

People from all around the world came to Whidbey for the week. Here are a few shots

that really captured the spirit of the day for me.  Good stuff!

Hans Iverson

I’ve been shooting more and more outdoors again and I have to say it’s incredibly refreshing.

Taking advantage of our amazing Northwest weather, lots more to come.

Thanks to Model, Hans Iverson and Photo assist Anthony Ponce De Leon.

Stewart Wurtz, Artist Profile

A few weeks back I had the pleasure spending a few hours in Stewart Wurtz’s wood studio in Fremont shooting him while he worked

and sharing some stories. These photos and others are being used to promote the Northwest Woodworkers Gallery.

Stewart Wurtz is a famous studio furniture maker based here in Seattle. He’s exhibited locally in the Pacific Northwest and

nationally at a variety of galleries and museums such as Pritam & Eames in East Hampton, NY, and in Maine, Pennsylvania,

California, and Washington.
