Family photoshoot

Four cousins + juice + cookies = crazy-fun photo shoot! We shot down in Seward Park a few nights back.

Classic summer fun with the all the cousins hamming it up for the camera and Gramma. Enjoy.

Aspen Farms Horse Trials 2016

I went down to Yelm, Washington to Aspen Farms this weekend to shoot the Cross-country horse trials

featuringsome of the best riders in the Northwest and beyond. I brought a Canon 300mm 2.8 lens to

play around with. I really liked the lens but many times found myself too close the action. What I did

end up capturing was the partnership between horse and rider. Takes two to jump as they say.

Here a just few of my favorites. #AFHT

Higher Ground

A few months ago I was hired by the Quileute Tribe to document their life on the edge of the Pacific Ocean.

This was a part of their efforts to be awarded a grant from the Washington State Community Economic Revitalization

Board for the “Move to Higher Ground project”. The very future of the tribe is in great danger should a tsunami hit that

part of the Washington coast. The tribal school is just feet from the water’s edge and the town would have just minutes

to evacuate. GREAT NEWS, they have been awarded the grant and plans are now under way to relocate the tribe to a safe

location out of harms way. This was an incredible experience for me and I hope to go back soon for more shots as the

project moves forward. Here are just a few images from that time of the amazing people and their hauntingly beautiful home.
